Internet Protocol version 6 Conference and Training

The Internet Society Philippines Chapter will be hosting the “2011 Philippine IPv6 Conference and Training” together with the Advanced Science and Technology Institute (ASTI), and the Commission on Information and Communications Technology (CICT), from January 24 to 27, 2011 at the Makati Shangri-la Hotel Manila.

The Chapter at APNIC27 and IGF

The new and rejuvenated ISOC Philippines Chapter (ISOC-PH) gave its first public presentation at the Internet Governance Pulong (IGP) held during the APNIC 27 Meeting in conjunction with the Asia Pacific Regional Internet Conference on Operational Technologies (APRICOT 2009). The event also marked the public launch of ISOC-PH after a rejuvenation process initiated by founding member, Rodel Urani.

The Internet Society is an independent international nonprofit organisation founded in 1992 to provide leadership in Internet related standards, education, and policy around the world.

The Philippines Chapter of the Internet Society (ISOC.PH) is a non-profit organization operated for charitable networking and educational purposes, as well as for academic, scientific and social purposes. Chartered August 1999, ISOC-PH was rejuvenated in 2009.
